Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504

The University of Dallas will not exclude or impede an otherwise qualified individual with disability, by sole reason of disability, from submitting an application for employment or from participation in University programs and activities.

The University will provide any and all reasonable accommodations to facilitate applicants, students, employees and guests with disabilities access to and participation in University programs, events, classes and administrative activities.

University departments sponsoring events that are open to the public must include as part of the event announcement the clause: Persons with disabilities needing special assistance to attend should contact the Accessibility Services Coordinator at 972-721-5120 at least 72 hours before the event. The University will provide reasonable accommodations to those requesting assistance.
 
Students who complain of any alleged violations of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 or the Americans with Disabilities Act, may present their complaint to the Director and Title IX Coordinator, Office of Civil Rights and Title IX, Inelda Acosta Ed.D., pHCLE, (972-721-5056).
